An afternoon sun highlights the shores of an unnamed lake used as a portage route between Long and Maple lakes in the Blue Mountain- Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness on the outskirts of Halifax, in Nova Scotia, Canada in early September.

Irwin Barrett has been a Fine Art photographer for over 42 years, specializing in Landscapes, the graphic details found in nature, Abstracts and Photo-Impressionistic subjects found mainly in his home province of Nova Scotia in Canada.
